Best Undervalued Buy: Legend Version

montana-rings

Who is the most undervalued legend at Oneseason right now? We have Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Brett Favre (people forget that he has retired), Joe Montana, and Babe Ruth. All of the legends are great long term buys as this site grows. As OS keeps expanding, the total MV will rise, and the first to rise with it will be the legends, the greatest players of all time, but the best short term buy of the legends has to be Joe Montana who was just released.

Is Joe Montana the 9th best QB of all time? NO. More like top 5, maybe top 3. Jay Cutler, Brett Favre, Tony Romo and Eli Manning are very overrated and he should be ahead of all of them IMO.  Here are some stats:  Joe Montana threw 20+ touchdowns in a season 6 times! Over 3,000 yards every season he played in more than 13 games! On top of that, he won 4 super bowls and was the MVP of 3 of those! He is the only person in the world that can say that! I could go on and on about how great he was, but I’d be here all day. He only has 947 shares outstanding, so you could get 1% of him very cheap. His MV is 11,000, even though it should be about 20,000. Jump on the Joe Montana train because he will be the next SOI to split!

Just my opinion guys, but I think it is a pretty good one.  Have fun making money.

What is best buy??? At OneSeason

utley-howard-oneseasonSo what currently is the best buy in the market these days?  We’ve seen the market jump over the last week and we have had some huge announcements (games, new homepage, etc.).  OneSeason Buzz wrote up a very nice article about what they consider today’s best buys to be.  Here is a little blurb.

Let me answer that question with a one word answer. Baseball!!! I believe right now Baseball is a win-win for you Sportfolio. Here the reasons why:

1. Baseball Season will be in full swing shortly. (We all no this, no need for me to comment further.)

2. OneSeason Pro announced last night on OneSeason Trader Radio that games are coming as part of the OneSeason Pro site. And they are gearing up for Baseball. They are suggesting ownership of possibly 5-7 shares of 5 or 6 Soi’s. But more details will be coming of exact numbers.

3. You can get your hands on shares of baseball anywhere from $2.91 per share to $12.86 currently as of 11:15 est. So if you only have a couple hundred dollars invested, you can scoop up 8 players currently under 3.50 per share including Albert Puljols at the moment. You can also try and land IPO’s if you are short on cash to help boost your baseball sportfolio.

4. You can get your hands on 3 players right now who have less than 1100 soi’s each. HMLS(895), UTLY(934) and PAPI (1085) and they are all priced $7.12 -12.86 per share currently. These shares will do nothing but climb as time goes buy and demand increases.

Great article by wmallory, you can check out the full writeup over at OneSeason Buzz.  I absolutely agree that baseball is the way to go right now.  Regardless of if you are playing games or not, if people play games, your MLB stocks will rock!

3/2-3/8 Stock of the Week: Bulls Eat BIRD

Pujols dropped a lot last week, but the whole market was down, so no real surprise there. Knup brought it up Thursday night on the radio show about the best buy, and he thinks Larry Bird is, and I completely agree. Look at his market value!!! Are you seriously telling me that Larry Bird has the 12th highest market value in Oneseason and 7th highest in the basketball market?! That is ridiculous, he is one of the greatest players ever to play the game and I believe his market value should be about 4th, behind Lebron, Kobe, and Jordan which would move him ahead of Yao, Paul, and Wade. His value would double if he is valued at where he should be, so I am buying and holding BIRD for a long time. He also only has 1939 SOIs outstanding which is always a plus. In this current bear market, I believe that the bulls will be hunting on a BIRD!

Current Price: $9.81

Pump up the price!!!

Pump up the price!!!

2/23-3/1 Stock of the Week: Albert Pujols

Big Ben ended the week up 21%, which is always good. I do think he will keep rising, but more after basketball season. For now, we are getting into spring training for baseball and preseason games start this week! The next 3 out of 5 IPOs are all baseball SOIs, which I feel is right for the upcoming baseball season. There are only 7 baseball SOIs as of Sunday, and one that I believe will rise soon will be Albert Pujols. Yes, he does have almost 8,000 shares out there, but this guy can smack the ball. Every year he has been in the league, he has hit over 30 homers, 100 RBIs, and batted over .310. He is one of the best, if not the best, hitters in the game. His value is only $27,000, while if you look at other players, he should probably be ahead of YAOM and WADE. I expect to see most baseball SOIs rise as we approach April, but I believe that Pujols will rise the most, and I am definitely buying him at the very affordable price of $3.60!

2/16-22 Stock of the Week: BIG Ben

Every week I will publish an article about the stock that I think will rise the most. I’ve been on this site since Day 1, so I have seen all the ups and downs and I have a pretty good idea on which stocks will rise off of these two factors: SOIs Outstanding and Market Value. Last week we saw Gretzky rise and his eventual split. I believe Durant will be the next to split, then comes Big Ben. Ben Roethlisberger has 1,171 SOIs outstanding and the lowest market value, around $7,000. How could a super bowl winning quarterback have the lowest market value? I believe that his market value should be around $30,000 and it will come soon. If that spike comes, he would be priced around $25 (split) and that would be about a 500% profit.  That might sound crazy, but I believe it is possible.  You can do what you want, but this is just my advice on an SOI that I will be loading up on. With my money, “I’m going to Disney World!!!”

YAO!

Yao is currently the cheapest stock ($1.43) and definitely the best buy right now! I have noticed a trend that the lowest cost SOI usually gains a lot the next day. Yao is a beast in the NBA and will be there for a long time with his height. I would buy Yao very quick before he rises to $2+YAO!!!!!

KING me!

lebron_james_-_king_of_clevelan_feature

With Lebron James (KING) having the highest market value, you can see why. He could become the greatest player ever to play the game of basketball! Nike definitely thinks he is worth millions and so do I! He is currently priced at $0.82 which is way too low. Remember when he would split all the time? He has never reverse split, and even though I don’t think it would be horrible if he did, you can get him really cheap right now. Many of us think that this drought in the market is going to end any day now, and I definitely agree. I see more green as of late and I believe that the whole market turning around starts with Lebron. I know I am loading up on him at this cheap price, and believe everyone else should. Who doesn’t love a KING?

Green MELO

Carmelo Anthony is the buy right now!  He is just way too cheap.  $1.23 for a stud like this, do remember that he was just $1.86 yesterday and that means he has dropped off, but his turnaround is NOW!  Carmelo was a star for the ‘Cuse and still is to this day.  Remember: the NBA season is still a long ways away from being over, which means he will keep producing.  Bottom line:  Buy MELO and your dwindling account will turn around!

MCNB a Good Buy

With McNabb being “benched” this past week at Baltimore – stock holders have been selling MCNB shares really low.  You can find them below the $1.30 per share mark often times.  Buy these up traders.  Philadelphia has already announced McNabb is starting this Thursday so he should rise back to his normal value soon.

Disclaimer: I currently own 1% of MCNB. Every trade is still your own decision.

Buy EVERYONE

You think I’m kidding?  Nope.  This is today’s tip.  BUY EVERYONE!  It appears as though OneSeason has started some advertising campaigns with ads being seen in the Yardbarker network, Facebook and more.  There is also talks of a big affiliate program coming out soon which will surely bring on spikes in traffic and members.  The question is – do you want to be left with few shares when this spike hits?

I wouldn’t.  So buy up these sub $5 stocks and be prepared to take your sportsfolio to splittsville in the near future!!!

Take it or leave it… It’s just my advice.
