Rewls article

A new article was spotted on Rewls.com in regards to OneSeason.  Seems as though they are going for a 2nd round of “article marketing” a year later.

Player specific Facebook ads

So just tonight I started seeing some more detailed Facebook ads for OneSeason.  Sdog, our OS Trader legend, has been working hard on his new site All Sports Talk Radio and has actually been promoting OneSeason a little bit using player names.  He actually sends the traffic to HIS site and not directly to OneSeason… It appears that OneSeason is giving this “player specific advertising” strategy a try as well.  In the past all I had seen on Facebook were general type ads about OneSeason and trading “sports shares”.  Here was the latest ad I saw:

Trade Shares of Jeter
Buy low and sell high – Trade virtual shares of A-Rod, Jeter and more using real money. Sign up now and get $10 to start trading!

I also saw a LeBron Facebook ad very similar to this one.  Pretty cool stuff.  One suggestion might be to target it even further by displaying player ads based on the location of the Facebook users.  I’m in Illinois, so show me Pujols, Zambrano, ROSE, Payton and more… For someone in California show them Kobe, Montana, etc…

Anyone else seen this new version of the Facebook ads?  Not a huge difference but sometimes in advertising, small tweaks help you find what works and what doesn’t.
